The deadline to apply for the New York State Excelsior Scholarship is Jan. 30, 2020. New students wishing to apply for the scholarship should submit the one-time application available on HESC . Students who have previously applied do not need to complete a new Excelsior application; however, the FAFSA and TAP applications must be renewed for all students each year. Final official high school transcripts from a U.S. high school, or accepted equivalents, must be on file before Jan. 27, 2020 for students seeking New York State Financial Aid. Refer to the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) website or visit a financial aid advisor if you have questions about this requirement or for more information on foreign transcripts. Does your financial aid package include an New York State award estimate ? To be eligible for an award listed as an estimate, you must complete the required NYS application(s) and meet all other eligibility requirements. Awards include the TAP Grant , Excelsior Scholarship , and STEM Scholarship among others . Estimates will be cancelled if all requirements are not satisfied. Last day to enroll in 3 installment Payment Plan Feb 09, 2020 The last day to enroll in a 3 installment Spring 2020 payment plan is February 14, 2020.
